We design and manufacture photo etched components suitable for aerospace, defense, medical, electronic, filtration, automotive, and many other commercial markets. Our core competency lies in producing micro-machined components, such as micro fluidic devices, screens & meshes, fuel valves, manifolds, electronic components, and disc filters. Chemically Etched Miniature Systems (ChEMS ®) as well as our PhotoPore® screens are two of our patented etched products used in critical spacecraft applications as well as medical requirements. Our photo etching capabilities allow us to fabricate components from a wide range of materials including but not limited to: aluminum, brass, copper, nickel alloy, polyimide, carbon & spring ...
With over five decades of experience in producing photo etched and diffusion-bonded parts, we meet high precision fabrication requirements of the thin-metal component market. Whether you are seeking to increase strengths, improve flow controls, create a decorative appearance, or make electrical connections by joining materials, our fabrication shop is equipped with an in-house vacuum furnace to handle your bonding needs. The vacuum furnace consists of a 12” wide x 12” high x 12” deep hot zone capable of handling temperatures up to 1315ºC.
Our photo etching and diffusion bonding processes are widely used in the production of sensor devices, cooling devices, fuel cells, sound suppression devices, ...
Through adhesive bonding, we join photo-etched parts into simple or complex assemblies. Our adhesively bonded components, manufactured from titanium, copper, aluminum, brass, iron-nickel alloys, and molybdenum, are suitable for medical, aerospace, filtration, automotive, and defense applications. Adhesive bonding enables us to bond chemically etched parts without mechanical fasteners, which in turn enhances surface finish and appearance of the bonded components.
To avoid contaminations during metal fabrication, we perform adhesive bonding operations at our in-house clean room, accredited to FED-STD-209 Class 10,000 standards. The facility is also equipped with NVR and central laboratories to handle testing, pre-inspection, ...
Precision parts can be manufactured with fine patterns, stepped multi-level features, high tolerances, and superior edge finishes by our photo electroforming process. Complete design assistance is available to customers for converting the pattern sketches to 2D CAD files. Our electroformed parts are extensively used in avionic systems, medical devices, electronics, and scientific controls.
Image transfer is done on multi-level electrodeposited metal products to create overgrown profiles. In the past, we have electroformed multi-level filter materials with unique hex support grids and holes as small as 40 µm for our customers. Precision filters, mesh, plus sieves are produced with zero particle entrapment, easy to ...
Whether you need our Micro Laser Service capabilities for cutting, welding or marking we can provide these services to you. Our laser capabilities are imperative to the markets we serve because of the demands placed for complete fabricated components on a quick-turn basis.
Offering precision Micro Laser Services to the continuous requirements of the thin metal and polymide product market further benefit the many companies that rely on us as their quality component supplier. The added value of our Micro Laser Servies allows for quicker deliveries and aids in producing products not currently availiable through the photo etching process. Many of our OEM customers have implemented a process to reduce their ...
(16) VACCO’s PhotoPore® screens and meshes are etched from solid sheets of material offering superior mechanical strength, excellent electrical conductivity, and reliable integrity of pore size regardless of flow characteristics. VACCO’s PhotoPore® screens can be made of titanium, nitinol, stainless steel, Kapton® nickel, copper, or any other material etched at VACCO, see Design Guide.
Patterns are wide ranging, from: round, elongated, hexagonal, square, octagonal, rectangular, and so on. All inside corner radii will be equal to material thickness, and the hole must be equal to or larger then the material thickness. With VACCO you have the ...
